Blue seedless table grape. Hardy to near -30 F. Medium to large blue berries are born on compact, medium sized clusters. Sweet and mild Concord-like flavor. Ripens extremely early to high sugar but can hang in good condition until a hard frost. Selected by Elmer Swenson. Ref 1

 

A hardy, blue, seedless table grape. Origin: developed by Elmer Swenson, Osceola, Wis. MN 78 x Venus; sel. In 1985; tested as E.S. 3-24-7; released in 2000; not patented. Fruit: blue; round; small to medium size; sugar content 22%; flavor is fruity American but mild; seedless with soft seed remnants; medium skin; ripens 10 Sept. in central Minnesota. Cluster: small to medium; cylindrical, semi-loose. Vine: hardy to –38 C; high vigor; resistant to downy mildew and black rot.    Ref 2

Trollhaugen—blue to black Swenson hybrid small seedless berries and small to medium clusters, used in sweet red table wines and as a fresh eating grape.  Ref 3
